Each month we strive to serve a local community organization. These are projects that don't require any specific skill or experience, just a couple hours of your time, usually on a Saturday morning or afternoon.
September 9: 8-11:00am: Mobile Food Distribution at Olivet Baptist Church, South Lansing We place designated types and amounts of food from the Greater Lansing Food Bank into cars as they come through the line.
October 21: 9-11:00am: Food bagging/packing at Greater Lansing Food Bank Warehouse, Bath
Our projects typically involve bagging different kinds of frozen meats or packaged foods for distribution to food pantries and mobile distributions.
