Are you or is someone you know experiencing a time of special need? Perhaps you’re going through grief or hardship for any number of reasons – loss of a loved one, loneliness, death, divorce, trouble at work. Are you or is someone you know sick, homebound, or in a nursing home? Or maybe you’re new to St. Michael and would like to visit with someone from the parish.
These are just some of the reasons you may want a BeFriender. The St. Michael BeFriender ministers are trained laypersons who are available to offer a listening ear to those who are experiencing times of transition. BeFrienders are here to listen and care; BeFrienders do not give advice or judge, and all conversations are kept confidential.
If you, or someone you know, could benefit from the BeFriender ministry, contact the parish office at 517-627-8493.
