As witnesses of Jesus Christ, St. Michael Parent Teacher Organization is committed to promote parent/teacher communication and involvement in fostering and providing advantages to the students of St. Michael Parish School of Grand Ledge, Michigan

 

· To promote the welfare of the students of St. Michael Parish School in school, home, parish, and community

· To bring into closer relation the home and the school, so that parents, guardians, and teachers may cooperate in the education of the students

· To provide channels of communication between parents, guardians, and school

· To foster and provide educational advantages to all students of St. Michael Parish School

· To assist the principal in carrying out the mission of the school

· To help promote St. Michael Parish School within the community

 

 

PTO is an organization that creates an avenue for parents to become involved with their children’s school. Additionally, PTO provides an open forum for parents to have a voice.

 

Over the years PTO has made many contributions to the school. PTO has purchased playground equipment, Accelerated Math, Signs, painted bathrooms, etc. Additionally, PTO hosts annual events such as the Ice Cream Social, Fall Hayride, Teacher appreciation luncheons, spring picnic pot-luck, etc. PTO is working to provide additional low-to-no-cost social events for the parents & children of St. Michael Parish School.
