Matthew 25 Initiative

Jesus said, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.  Matthew 25:40

Caring for the poor is part of the St. Michael Parish mission.  As an expression of this, a percentage of our Sunday and Holy Day offertory will be going to charities who serve people in dire need, providing life- sustaining services such as food, water, shelter and medical care.  We seek to help the least of our brothers and sisters, whether locally or around the world, through this weekly offering.  For more information, click on our brochure.

July 2017 Charities

Any parishioner aware of charitable organization that serves those in dire need, is welcome and encouraged to propose that charity as a Matthew 25 recipient.  Charities that serve people in dire need would be those that provide life-sustaining services such as food, water, shelter and medical care.  Click here for the Matthew 25 Proposal Form.
